Doesn’t matter if I install it from .deb or flatpak or tar.gz, it won’t just open. I would click the program and nothing would happen.
I tried to open it from the terminal and it showed this and got stuck-
Initializing Drawie…
Initializing Vulkan context…
I tried an old command from this forum
pixieditor --opengl
didn’t work, just showed
Initializing Drawie… and got stuck there
then for flatpak
flatpak run net.pixieditor.PixiEditor --opengl
still didn’t work, just showed
Initializing Drawie… and got stuck there again
and for tar.gz when I make the pixieditor file executable and try to run it by double clicking, I get the same problem, no response at all.
What GPU do you have and what drivers do you use (properietary or open source if nvidia).
Also, here’s a troubleshooting guide that might help you https://pixieditor.net/docs/usage/troubleshooting/
