I’d like to suggest you to add ‘New layer from visible’ option. This is a thing in Photoshop, Affinity Photo, GIMP etc. This option makes a new layer combining visible layers a new layer at the top of the layer list. This is extremely useful for making “pit stops” for your work and is also very useful for printing, so it’s possible to do different versions with different amounts of sharpening etc.
I’d recommend using same shortcut for it as PS and Affinity Photo uses (ctrl+alt+shift+E).
