Duplicated folder's layers animations are not synced in timeline

Here’s what I did:

    1. create a folder
    1. create a layer in the folder with a simple 2-frame animation
    1. right-click on folder and select duplicate

expected result:

The duplicated folder and its layer have their own animation and everything works as usual

actual result:

Changes to the original layer are no longer reflected in the timeline. EG

  • if you select the original layer, it will not appear selected in the timeline
  • if you edit the original layer, the timeline thumbnail will not update
  • if you hit play, the original layer will animate with the changes you made, even though they’re not indicated in the timeline
  • the timeline thumbnails will always match the duplicated layer, even when the original layer is selected

If I save, close and reopen the .pixi file, the timeline properly shows both layers with their individual animations. So the data is there and in tact, it’s just that the timeline isn’t representing it properly for some reason

Fixed in 2.0.1.12-dev (development channel guide) , in the next few days fix will be released to stable channel
