Currently, the Bucket Fill tool in PixiEditor acts as an exact color replacement. It only fills pixels that are identical to the clicked pixel. This limits its usability when working with sketches, scanned line art, or imported images where colors have slight variations or anti-aliasing.
I would like to request a Tolerance (or Threshold) slider for the Bucket Fill tool settings.
- Low Tolerance: Fills only pixels that closely match the selected color.
- High Tolerance: Fills a broader range of similar colors.
Currently, I have to rely on other software (like GIMP or Aseprite) to perform fills on complex images before importing them into PixiEditor, or manually paint over areas, which is time-consuming. ![]()
This feature is a standard in most graphics editors (Photoshop, Paint.NET, GIMP) and would greatly enhance the workflow for pixel artists working with non-pristine assets.
